Teac A-4300SX Guide roller and bush

This is something I have never seen before its a guide roller but its fixed and has two wires running to it to two metal rods the purpose of which I am uncertain perhaps to sense a magnetic strip for reverse as ths was a bidirectional machine.

Some slight furring so needs a buff
