Tascam ES-50 Synchronizer

This is an unusual item for me

Info I have is This unit synchronizes multiple tape machines using SMPTE and machine tach controls. The ES50 can be used as either a stand alone chase lock synchronizer .The ES50 is compatible with all SMPTE/EBU timecode standards, 29.97 fps, 30 fps, 24 fps and 25 fps. 

I was surprised as at the back was some video connectors the old centronics types etc, i guess you will need to make cables for these.

This is the first one I have ever had, they are really rare
