I bought a few spare boards for repairing my Tascam 38 however it seems that Tascam made at least two versions of this board and maybe 3
Its similar to ones used on the 32 and 34 models but they have more components and I doubt you could use this for them
It seems that around serial number 40000 Tascam made a lot of changes.
This will not work if your unit needs the 02 suffix
Although they had high serial numbers 30,000 etc that did not mean it seems to me that they actually produced 30,000 a lot was to do
with production changes so these earlier boards are rare now.
If you had a duff channel and bought a new board and found that also did not work the reason may be just the different version
in my collection I am building up units by using scrap or part decks and selling of the parts i don't need to buy more.
