Fostex 16 track B16 G16S erase head 8259012000 very very rare relapped tested

Fostex B16 1/2 track 16 channel erase head a very rare part now

Now I send all my heads away to be checked a re-lapped as want to be straight with everyone and this way I can guarantee the condition as its a lot money.

These go to the lap shop, they are first inspected for wear and discarded if no good (  I have no say in this and have given the lap shop a free hand here) if it looks like they will lap ok they will be tested electrically then if that's ok they will be re-lapped , they get another inspection after the lapping process then they are again electrically tested and a report is generated like a before and after and then repacked and sent to me.

Rare chance for someone, these were a 6500$ machine when first out and the heads formed a large part of that cost and that was in 1980s money, you could have bought a house for that sum in my city.

I am not sure if it was the same head on the  E16 but guessing yes as they was all the same format
